Patty Burke was inspired by Abigail Briggs, a lovely bichon lady
who took endless pleasure in her very own garden in Great Britain. Abigail
was introduced to bichon lovers worldwide in 1996 with her first book, the
Bichon Bug.
Her owners, Joan & Derek Briggs, have delighted their fans with
heartwarming tales of bichonly antics in six subsequent frolicing
bichon books. Special Note: Sadly, Abigail crossed the Rainbow Bridge on January 27, 2001. Abigail's bichon brothers Henry, Chas & Dylan, along with their owners, continue to work on behalf of one of Abigail's passions, Bichon Frise Rescue of the United Kingdom. Garden Flag Description:
